Amandas first post to the Blogging world!! LOL

Hi guys, Well this is my very first post to my blog I just had my blog set up like 3 days ago my soon to be Sisiter-In Law Emily set it up for me that was so nice of her to do that for me b. I have been wanting to set up a blog for awhile but just havent had the time with recently moving and all. I really wanted one because some of Roberts Family dosent have facebook and I thought it would be nice for them to be able to see pics of the baby and family when I post! Plus I like the blog it is way differnent then facebook you can really show your peronalty and I like that you can post pics on your profile unlike facebook, Cafemom and Myspace. Well the baby is startig to crt so I got to go for now but I will post later!! Looking forward to blogging!

Lindsays Birthday

These three pics are from Lindsay's Bithday of last year! I thought it was kind of cool how we where both pregnant at the same time. My Sister Crissy was pregnant also at the same time. I am glad that i was able to share that experenice with them and what an awsome experience to share. Also its cool to be able to talk about our babys together and what they are going through, what they are learning at the time,Or how late they kept us up that night. (LOL) Plus We can learn from each other and our mistakes. Having Baby's are just FUN all together in anyway you look at it. On top of all that they will grow up together Alyssa will have her cousin Cameron which is about 4 months older and she will have her cousin Jacob which is 2 weeks older yeah my Sister and I where only 2 weeks apart. Alyssa also just had a second cousin born about 2 weeks ago and his name is Robbie his mommy is my cousin Shawna. I LOVE BABY'S!!!!

Starting from the right of the picture is my Sister Crissy while she was Pregnant, then My Mom,My Aunt Syliva, In the back is my Uncle Russell, Then My Aunt Susan, And then Me while I was also Pregnant! This picture was taken at my Sisters Baby Shower! It was so neat we both where pregnant at the same time which my Nepfew is only 2 weeks apart from Alyssa. When they start school they could not only be in the same school and the same grade but they could even be in the same class LOL. It was funny when Robert and I arrived at her Baby Shower I was not excepting gifts but since my Aunt Syliva and her daughters which are my Cousins missed my Baby Shower they had tons of gifts there for me. I had a good time at the baby Shower especially since I got to spend time with Some of my Aunts, Cousins and my Uncle that I havent seen in Forever. I Love Babys they make everyone happy and it seems like they bring families closer together!!

My Glider/ Ottemen Experience!!!

Well I never would have Imaigned that it would have been so hard to find a Glider and Ottemen for her Nursery. Let me tell you about it well most of you already know if you have been around me because I was talking about it cause it was so just crazy Well first I went to Target to buy one that matched her crib that I bought from there. When I was pregnant they had a set displayed out in the store. The set inclued The Crib, Glider/ Ottemen and The changing table/Dresser. I seen it numerous of times during my pregnancy. So I decided on that one when I was pregnant. Well SO I bought the Crib and Changing Table/Dresser but didnt have the room in the truck for the Rocker so I had to go back to buy the rocker another day. So anyways when I went back to buy the Glider and Ottemen they no longer had them the Rocker it was recalled. So I tried another Target hoping they had one there and haven't took them off the shelves yet. Needless to say after trying 3 or 4 Targets they did'nt have one. So I started looking for one at Baby's Ur us and the only ones they had at the stores where white color wood and they did have one that matched my crib but it was like $400 dollars. And I really did'nt love it. PLus that was $200 more dollars then the one at Target. All of there other ones at Baby's Ur us that was around $200 you had to order them and I dont like to order stuff from there beings how long it took me to get my dresser from there. So I started to look at Walmart. I went to the one by my house and found one and I thought the wood was to dark to match the wood of her dresser so I did'nt get it. Later I found out that it matched perfectly I just did'nt realize how dark her crib really was. So I went back to buy it and they had already sold it. So 2 walmarts later I found one bought it and was so happy. The next day opened it and It was broken. Go fiqure I swore I was alomst in tears LOL. So I went back and exchanged it and it had went on sale for $140 and I paid $200 just 2 days before. So I got my money back the $200 and bought the same one for $140. So I saved $60 beings I had to take it back. The $60 still did'nt make up for all that furstation I had went through. (But it was nobody's fault ) I could'nt of imaged having to pay$400 for one. Well thats my story I just thought it was kind of funny. And I guess an experience to remeber and to tell Alyssa when she gets older how hard it was to find a rocker to rock her in. Well thats all I have I LOVE BEING A MOMMY AND ALL THESE EXPERIENCE'S ARE SO WORTH IT .

Below is a Picture of my Brother Kenny and his son Kenny Jr. This Picture is about 8 years old. He passed away in 2004 in a bad car accident. He is missed so much he was only 27 years old. And his son was 2 years old. My brother had a big heart and was very caring and would give someone the shirt off of his back. I hope to see him one day again in my next life. My Mother and I used to say why would god let this happen he was so young. But now that I know better I Thank Heavenly Father for the time I did have to share with him.
