My Baby Shower Experience!!!

Well below are some pics from my Baby Shower It was on October 3rd 2009. Which was kind of a weird day for me being my Brother passed away on that day 4 years ago but by the time I realized that and remembered the Inventions had been sent out and arrangements had been made! So I thought about it and I
believe that my Brother would not want me to mope around on that day. So what more special thing to do then to have a Baby Shower for my first child. Anyways Marlene, Lindsay,Tammy (Lindsay Mother),and Emily through me my Baby Shower and they did a great job at it and turned out to be an aswsome!!!  Marlene, Lindsay and Tammy where in charge of all the Decorating which turned out to be beautifull.  I was so trilled when I walked in and seen all the decorations, my favorite was the Table which below their is a picture.  The table was in Lindsay's dinning room which her dinning room is one of the first rooms you see when you walk in her house. I believe that Tammy got the cake and it was sossoso pretty I loved it. They had letters on the table that spelled out Alyssa's name which I just addored when I seen it. I have to say that mine and Lindsays Baby Shower was the prettiest baby Shower I have ever been to and had the best decorations. They did such a great job oranizing my Baby Shower all together. Emily was in Charge of all the games that where played during the Shower. She picked out some really good games to which everyone seemed to enjoy. My Favoriate game was where they had to answer qustions like What is the Thyme for my Nursery or How many weeks Pregnant I was Questions like that.  While I was opening all my presents Marlene wrote down what the gift was and who it was from then at the end she got everone's address so I could send Thank You cards.  She helped Decorate, She made me my Diaper Cake, She took Pictures, She made sure that my friends and Family felt welcome,She made a notebook to place all my Baby Shower Cards that I recived for keepsake, She made me a Baby Book and this was not just an ordinary Baby Book this book was handmade by Alyssa's Grandma and I just love it it has places already set aside for certain Pictures for instance theirs a place for Alyssa's bath time, Sleeptime, A place for Carinval pictures, Baby Shower Pic, Hospital Pic things like that.  Also their is a cute background on every page and it will go with the pictures like the page for her bath time their are litte duckes in the background. She is very good at scrapbooking I am starting to practice myself and it is very time consuming so I know that it took her some time to make it thats what makes it so special. I hope that one day soon I will be able to make a book like that.  On top of all that she also made my Baby Shower Inventions that I liked very much.  They where not store bought she made them herself on the front page of the baby Shower Invention was a Picture of me as a child and a pic of me Pregnant which I loved.  I have to say that Marlene, lindsay, Tammy and emily did an Awsome job putting my Baby Shower together and I am very Thankfull they did that for me and went through such great extend to make it a special for me!!!

Amandas first post to the Blogging world!! LOL

Hi guys, Well this is my very first post to my blog I just had my blog set up like 3 days ago my soon to be Sisiter-In Law Emily set it up for me that was so nice of her to do that for me b. I have been wanting to set up a blog for awhile but just havent had the time with  recently moving and all. I really wanted one because some of Roberts Family dosent have facebook and I thought it would be nice for them to be able to see pics of the baby and family when I post! Plus I like the blog it is way differnent then facebook you can really show your peronalty and I like that you can post pics on your profile unlike facebook, Cafemom and Myspace. Well the baby is startig to crt so I got to go for now but I will post later!! Looking forward to blogging!
